Icelandic Music Compilations & Samplers (Part 2)

Upcoming Icelandic Music Compilation on Abutre Netlabel
Everybody knows that Iceland is a landscape graced with rare specimens and has a quite distinguished fauna of experimental and innovative music. But – besides known names such as Björk, Sigur Rós or múm – there’s an all universe (yet to find) of projects, sculptured by the icy breeze, that tend to challenge the barriers of creativity and emotion. Abutre Netlabel – with the collaboration of the web portal Iceland Music Export – is preparing a compilation with the new names and the best kept secrets from the Icelandic scene. This project will have a graphic component, as well, once the artwork will be developed by artists from Iceland.
